Our achivements

Voice ESEA is an award-nominated, volunteer-led non-profit group striving for the equity and inclusion of ESEA (East and Southeast Asian) people in the UK.

 

Our achievements include:

  • Gathered 22,000 signatures in the UK on a petition to the UK government requesting additional support for victims of COVID-19 racism and anti-racism programmes

  • Led discussion on ITV News and a documentary on Channel 4, using our collaborative FOI research on the increase in anti-Asian hate crimes reported to the police

  • Shape a teaching module at the University of Surrey and speak at organisations such as Salesforce.

  • Worked with national charities such as Glaucoma UK and LGBT Foundation

  • Awarded grants for ESEA community development projects by Manchester Pride and Lush.
