ECHO 2025:
The Six

May 2025, London, Manchester.

In the 2025 ECHO Exhibition, we showcased the hidden history of 'The Six Asian Survivors of Titanic' with a screening of Arthur Jone's documentary The Six (2021), which uncovered the untold stories of the Asian passengers aboard the Titanic, the exclusion and racism they faced, as well as the consequences after their survival and arrival in America.

Our exhibition travelled from London to Manchester, with panel discussions about uncovering hidden history with ESEA experts in research, archiving and curation.

We had an incredible opportunity to further exhibit our research as a month-long pop-up exhibition at The Portico Library in Manchester, celebrating ESEA Heritage Month and allowing us to share our work with a wider group of audience.

The exhibition texts and further readings can be found below.
