Abbey Wong
At her core, Abbey is a proud third-generation HK-Chinese immigrant, born and raised in London. Her grandparents are also very proud of her for using our education and voices to finally speak up for the ‘silenced minority’.

Laura Mai Gainor
Laura is an American-born half-Vietnamese behavioural design consultant currently with a value-led business ethos. She has a specialisation in human behaviour and marketing and has spoken for companies like People Like Us, Microsoft and the University of Surrey.

Laurence Maidment-Blundell
Laurence is pursuing a PhD at the Institute of Archaeology, UCL which is focusing upon the role of volunteers in the de-colonisation of cultural institutions.

Catherine Lui
Cat is a UK born Chinese-British creator economy specialist. Throughout her twenty year career she has empowered diverse creators to grow their presence and create content that positively impacts their audiences. Cat currently leads the creator strategy function at Influencer and is an advocate for diversity in the media sector.

Joanne Yuen
Joanne is a multilingual British born Chinese who is a media planner and has previously worked in education. She is a theatre/culture enthusiast who is passionate about championing ESEA talent in the arts. Campaigning for social change and advocating for anti-racism are part of her core values, so she is proud to be on the Voice ESEA team.

Choon Young Tan
Choon wears many hats: blogger (Tan’s Topics and The ESEA Echo), writer, poet, social media creator, marketer, events planner, public speaker, workplace inclusion specialist, and ED&I advocate. His passion for diversity, the inclusion and representation of ESEAs and other marginalised groups has helped him be nominated for two awards.

James Owen
James is a British-born half-Chinese management consultant specialising in data strategy and analytics. Passionate about data-driven approaches, he helps organisations optimize their decision-making with analytics. With a strong interest in sports, one particular area James is determined to foster is diversity within the sporting industry.
